	Extremely Rare EDWARD VOM HOFE Prototype Model 423
	Extremely Rare EDWARD VOM HOFE Prototype Model 423 Fly Reel, that was custom made with a narrow spool, one of a kind believed to be the earliest and first customized hybrid with an unusual 5 position selected drag on the black plate, with a very fine German Silver Arrowhead pointer, most SALMON Reels have a 7 position drag. This reel has an early patent of Jan 23rd. 1883 on the back sliding oil cover. Rarely seen optional factory hand engraved drag switch. This reel measures 1-11/16th's by 3-3/8th's, also featuring the early stlye narrow rounded edge silver encircling bands, fitted with 2 pairs of line rollers crossbars, with a German Silver Serpentine Handle, this reel measures between a size 1/0 and 2/0.
